  Course Structure & Evaluation

Student explaining a projectThe curriculum has been structured after an exhaustive analysis by experts from various academic, technical and industrial fields. The students will be trained to work with various projects in the software industry.

In the recent years, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) has emerged as one of the most sought-after courses among the professional degrees. It has become a pre-requisite qualification for the aspirants entering the software profession. The boom in the IT sector has turned the tide towards MCA and now the MCA graduates along with the engineering graduates are ruling the Software Arena.

Examinations are conducted at the end of each semester to assess the students’ understanding in what has been taught and learnt during that particular semester period. A comprehensive viva-voce is conducted in project, at the end of final year.

PROEJECT - MCAAs an integral part of the curriculum, every student takes up work on a project in an organization with a view to facilitate complimentary learning and greater understanding to work with software projects. The duration of the training is for 15 weeks. The project guides from the organizations and the internal guides (faculty) from the college will provide necessary guidance to the students. The projects are evaluated at the end of the sixth semester by an external examiner on the basis of a report, a presentation and a viva-voce.
