The College has a full-fledged Placement Cell which has a specially designated Placement Officer and faculty from various departments as placement coordinators. The Placement cell coordinates with HR departments of various Corporates/MNCs and organizes recruitment at the college campus.

Process in College

Registered students for placement are divided into groups & are given pre-placement training to equip them with the vital job skills. The placement cell prepares the students to face campus interviews imparting training in employable skills like Aptitude skills (Verbal Ability, Quantitative & Logical Reasoning), Body Language, Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Group Discussions, overall personality development skills viz., Goal Setting, Confidence Building, Motivation, Positive Thinking, Flexibility & other soft skills.

Pre-Placement training also includes workshops on Career Guidance, Communication Skills, Problem Solving techniques, Critical and Analytical reasoning etc. Support is also rendered in preparation for competitive exams.

From the year 2015-2016, the placement cell has initiated an online placement portal for placement registration to students.

The college has excellent network with reputed companies like Amazon.com, Berkedia, Deloitte, HSBC, Cognizant, WIPRO, Verizon, Genpact, Factset, UBS, Ctrl S, Accenture, Birla Sun life, Infor etc.

Placement Cell MOU’s

St. Joseph’s PG College has collaboration with various companies/organisations for students’ training and other activities in the year 2018-2019.

Amazon Work from University (WFU)

An MOU was signed between College and Amazon CS team. First time Amazon has launched a new concept of offering part time jobs to MBA college students through its programme “Work from University” at our college. Students work after the college hours in tune with the concept of “Earn while you Learn.​

TASK

Through the MOU St. Joseph’s will offer TASK Registered Students the chance to attend educational lectures/ career development workshops and certificate courses as well as provides internship opportunities. This enhances their employability quotient and increases their scope of employability.

Berkadia

The College has signed MOU with Berkadia (Warren Buffet Company) for training the students of MBA on BCRE (Berkadia Commercial Real Estate) and then placing them into its organization. Trainers from Berkadia train the students in the campus for more than 3 months. After completion of training the students are assessed and absorbed into the organization.

Sychroserve (NMDC Training Partner)

The College has entered into a MoU with new training partner "SynchroServe Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd" to impart "Employability Skills" through Campus recruitment Training (CRT) to train MBA students in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Skills.
